Gave guidance onto bullet points, went from a 1/400 to ~1/30. I went from begging to OA's to drowning with how manny I had to do in a week.

Headless helped me with writing the bullet points nicely and precisely that may help during resume scanning round. I still remember that I was looking at the videos at 11 am and heard him saying how to change the resumes and I watched almost 50 videos of him and made my resume bullet points that way. I got bunch of interviews despite being an INTERNATIONAL. YES. Job market is MESSED UP, but this helped me a lot!!

The new resume template improved my callback rate to about 1 in 50 for cybersecurity roles and ultimately helped me secure a SOC Analyst position. The before resume was before I discovered your content. It helped me land an entry‑level help desk role, but the process was much more difficult as I was also handling a career change.

I genuinely did not know who to listen to for making my resume, but Lee was incredibly helpful and consistent in his advice and his regular roasts of my resume on his livestream. I listened to him, and finally got myself a job in tech.

Took your advice on project bullet points, keeping only a few of the most relevant projects, targeting the stack (so I targeted fintech full-stack roles), tailoring for each job description

Hi there, I want to thank you for your amazing resume advice! You by far have given me the most traction with getting interviews even compared to professional career coaches that cost hundreds of dollars! Ultimately, you were the biggest reason that I got a job as an entry level Data Scientist. I just graduated from university with no clue about how to get a job. The advice that I got at university was to tailor your resume to every job and write a personalised cover letter which took hours for just one application. I was burned out and only getting about one interview every month. I talked to a professional career coach, but she just gave me the exact same resume advice. Now she did give me good advice about how to network and interview, but you’re not going to get interviews without a good resume. Then just by chance I saw one of your videos. I was honestly sceptical at first. I thought “how is it possible to get 1 interview after only SEVEN applications?” However, your advice made perfect sense to me. I could understand why your advice works from the recruiter’s perspective. For example, why would a recruiter just look at keywords without any context? A candidate could have just used that keyword for 5 minutes and not actually done anything useful with it. You need to know that the candidate can contribute value to the team. That is why they are paid. I also liked your advice because it was backed up with data. I could compare my resume performance to what you say it should be. After seeing your videos, I applied your advice to my resume and copied your formatting and the way you write bullet points. I also made sure to apply to between 5-10 Data Analyst/Data Scientist/Business Analyst positions each day and be consistent with applying. Then the unthinkable happened. I received three phone calls in a single week after getting no interviews for a month previously! What was also amazing was that two of these interviews were for Data Scientist roles which appear rarely in job boards. The overall interview to application ratio was about a 1 in 10 for my Data Scientist resume which is close to what you said I should get.
As I said earlier, there is not many Data Scientist roles where I live in Australia, which could explain why it was not 1 in 7. Furthermore, I changed my resume several times, so it is not entirely a fair representation of its’ performance. Nevertheless, this ratio is very good and allowed me to get an offer after only 3 months of following your advice and 2 months of applying with the volume needed. I just want to say again that your advice has been great. I have managed to get close to that magic 1 in 7 interview to application ratio even in this tough tech job market as an entry level graduate. Just to be transparent, the resume I have sent to you is probably not the best one I have done (there is still numbers in it), but this resume got me the job and even if it is not perfect, it still got results.
As a sidenote you also mentioned that it takes about 13 interviews to get job. That is close to spot on the amount I did until I got an offer!

You gave me key insights into what the most important things are when applying to jobs. The one I believe helped the most was applying to jobs as soon as possible, not wasting time on job listings over a day old. I built an app that would notify me when a new listing was posted on a major ATS and I received 2 offers from jobs that I applied to from that app, so that should tell you how important being an early applicant is. Another thing was crafting better bullet points on my resume. I don't think my resume is as great as it could be, but I did cut some fluff and I kept getting callbacks so I kept the formatting. I tailored each resume to the job listing, swapping bullet points from a bank that I had and tried to utilize relevant key words to each bullet point using AI.
Note from Lee: This persons first real bullet point carries almost the entire resume due to what the market wants at the time.

Your review really gave me a new perspective on recruiters, specifically that your bullets shouldn’t be overly technical and they should be understandable for a nontechnical recruiter
Last year I told you I applied to 300 internships and heard back from 3. Happy to share that I applied to ~100 SWE/ML internships this summer, and heard back from:
Optiver Quant Research
Walleye Capital Quant Research
Jane Street SWE
Citadel SWE
OpenAI SWE
Google SWE
Apple SWE
Microsoft SWE
NVIDIA ML
Axiom Math ML
(And a bunch other random startups)
And for the upcoming summer I’ve signed with Google DeepMind to work on the Gemini API!
Thanks again Headless!

I was applying to jobs and getting few interviews. I'd estimate 120 applications per interview. I watched a few YouTube videos from Lee and updated my resume. Within a few weeks I was getting interviews for extremely good jobs. I'm not sure what my ratio is now, but it seems to be much better. This impressed me even more since I am applying to fairly specialized roles. Lee's video on salary negotiation allowed me to productively handle salary discussions without any stress. Understanding the recruitment process also gave me a much better idea of which jobs to apply to. Thank you very much for the videos.

When I started my job search I submitted 124 resumes over the course of a month, and got 0 interviews. After finding Headless Headhunter, and re-doing my entire resume based on his advice, after 15 submissions I got 2 interviews. Job hunting can be brutal, especially in 2026, but it's a learnable skill and Headless Headhunter definitely knows how to teach it.
